We are a small in-home reputable Dachshund puppy breeder located in Winter Haven, Florida. Our priority is breeding Miniature Dachshunds with excellent health and temperament and structure. All of our breeding stock dogs are genetically tested to be bred accordingly based off of genetics and health and structure. All of our dogs and puppies are raised in doors with our family which are well socialized. All puppies come pre-microchipped and with a Florida health certificate of health showing that they are free and clear from parasites. All puppies come with a small puppy pack and a health guarantee. 

We breed mostly dilutes and creams and chocolates. All of our dilutes that are bred show NO signs of Color dilution alopecia, also known as CDA. Color dilution alopecia (CDA) is a genetic recessive heredity condition that causes patches of hair thinning or loss and may also include flaky and/or itchy skin, bald spot on the dog's body. The condition is associated with individuals who have what is called a “dilute” color and is most commonly seen in dogs with a blue or fawn/ Isabella coat. These puppies are born with a normal-looking hair coat. The clinical signs of CDA may begin to manifest at birth all the way up to the age of 2-3 years old. There is NO genetic test to test for this. We simply grow out the puppy and watch for signs. This is simply just a Cosmetic Condition and causes NO health risk to the dog. While CDA is not curable, it can be managed. Gateway 2 Little Paws LLC strives to NOT produce any puppies with this condition.
